Thomas Almeida or Thomas Guimaraes Almeida is a professional mixed martial artist born on July 31, 1991. The Brazilian is currently signed under the Ultimate Fighting Championship and competes in the bantamweight division. He has been a professional mixed martial artist since 2011 and was once the bantamweight champion under the Legacy FC. As of November 2015, Almeida is ranked sixth in his division by the UFC. He also boasts of 20 straight wins in his mixed martial arts career which made him one of the fighters with the longest undefeated record.

The Brazilian fighter fought extensively in his native country with an impressive record of 8-0 before starting under Legacy FC. It was just in 2014 when he signed under the UFC with a multi-fight contract. His professional debut under the UFC happened in November 8, 2014 where he fought with Tm Gorman and win via unanimous decision.

Almeida was born in Sao Paulo in Brazil. He stands 5 feet and 7 inches tall and comes with a 70-inch reach. He trains under the Chute Boxe Academy and comes with a black belt in Muay Thai and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
