Maryna “Iron Lady” Moroz is a Ukranian mixed martial artist born on September 9, 1991. She is also sometimes referred to as the “Iron Woman.” She currently fights at the Starweight Division of the UFC and was once a boxing coach for the Ukranina Olympic Women’s boxing team. She is currently under the YK Promotion Association and possesses an impressive skill in boxing.

She began training in professional mixed martial arts in 2013 but was already practicing boxing at a very young age. She initially started working as a coach in the Ukranian Boxing National team. However, she decided to move forward in her fighting career in the Ultimate Fighting Championship after finding little opportunity in boxing in Ukraine. She entered the professional fighting scene in 2013 winning at the OC- Oplot Challenge 89 against Yana Kuzioma via an armbar submission.

She had five more consecutive wins afterwards including fights at the Kunlun, IMAT and the XFCI. She later on had a short stint at the Florida based promotion, the Xtreme Fighting Championships and won against Karine Silva in her debut fight at the XFC International 7 in 2014. She won via submission with her favorite signature move, the armbar. Her debut fight in the UFC was against Joanne Calderwood at the UFC Fight Night 64 in 2015 winning via an armbar submission.

Her latest fight was against Valerie Letourneau at the UFC Fight Night 74 where she lost via decision.

She currently holds a record of 7 total fights with 6 wins and 1 loss.
