Former UFC champion, Conor McGregor, has accused his fellow UFC fighter, the “Nigerian Nightmare” Kamaru Usman of seemingly copying his fighting style. McGregor said that the fighter deserves a smack.

In a tweet, McGregor said, Usman even copying my shots now. Am I to fight this guy at some stage? I think so. Cant be copying my words and my shots and not get a smack for it. I like 170. Its mine soon.

The former lightweight and featherweight title holders tweet came after seeing Usmans victory against Jorge Masvidal during the UFC 261 event. The match was held in Jacksonville, Florida late Saturday night.

The Irishman further clarified the 170 in his tweet, by explaining that he can increase his bulk to 170 from his current 155 lbs. That way, he would be able to go against the Nigerian by next year.

The former champ further tweeted that the crowd gathering in Jacksonville has made him eager to return to the Octagon for some action.

Over the years, McGregor is known for issuing challenges against opponents who are often out of his league. He even went as far as challenging boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. in 2017. The fight ended in a TKO in the 10th-round, and was known for being the only time that McGregor went into boxing.

Sometime before the event, Usman was reportedly joking that anybody who would go against him would have a green panty night. This was said to be a play on the words that McGregor once said, red panty night for the paychecks that his opponents are getting for taking him on
