HC Dinamo Minsk is a professional ice hockey team based in Minsk Belarus. It was founded in 2007 and is now a member of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), the Bobrov Division. Their home arena is the Minsk Sports Palace, which has an estimated capacity of 4,842 individuals. Team colors for HC Dinamo Minsk are blue and white.

Since its 2004 establishment, the club has won several championships including two Belarus Cups, which they won in 2005 and in 2006. They also won the Belarusian Extraliga Championships in 2007. They were the runners up in 2006 and came in third in 2008.

This hockey club was formed on the basis of the existing Dinamo Minsk team that played in the Belarusian Extraliga. The club’s participation with the Bobrov division of the Kontinental Hockey League was confirmed on March 26, 2008. The first game HC Dinamo Minsk played in the KHL was held on September 2, 2008 against the Metallurg club. The match ended in a victory for Dinamo Minsk.

Vladimir Tsyplakov currently manages the team and their head coach is Vasil Spiridonov. Former head coach Paul Gardner was dismissed by the club on July 29, 2008. Both Spiridonov and Tsyplakov are from Russia.

A majority of the players in HC Dinamo Minsk originate from Belarus and its surrounding regions. The club, however, has also imported several players including defenseman Ben Clymer from the United States and goaltender Andy Chiodo from Ontario, Canada.
