Ryan O’Marra is a Canadian center in the Edmonton Oilers’ organization.

O’Marra was drafted by the New York Islanders in 2005, after scoring 25 goals and 63 points with the Erie Otters in the OHL. He spent the next five years in the minors with a number of different teams, but was unable to replicate his success at the AHL level. He was traded to Edmonton in 2007, and spent the next three years with the Springfield Falcons before making his NHL debut in 2009. He recorded one assist in 3 NHL games, and will compete for a roster spot at the 2010 training camp.

O’Marra won two gold medals with Team Canada at the 2006 and 2007 World Juniors.
