Alexandre Giroux is a Canadian forward on the Edmonton Oilers.

Giroux was drafted in 1999 by the Ottawa Senators after posting 124 penalty minutes in the QMJHL. He spent four years in the Q before jumping to the AHL. By the time he made his NHL debut, he was a member of the New York Rangers, where he played one game before signing with Washington in 2006. He played 30 games with the Caps over the next few seasons, scoring 4 goals and 9 points. In 2008-09, while scoring 60 goals in the AHL, he set a league record for consecutive games with a goal. The next season, he was named league MVP after scoring 103 points and helping the Hershey Bears win the league title. In 2010, he signed with Edmonton.
