Dean Arsene is a Canadian defenseman on the St. Louis Blues.

Arsene was never drafted by an NHL team, but has played different levels of North American pro and semi-pro hockey for the last 15 years. Starting in ‘96, he played five years in the WHL, before jumping to the AHL. He spent 8 years in the AHL, six with the Hershey Bears where he won two Calder Cups. He signed with Edmonton in 2009, hoping to have a chance to finally crack an NHL roster, and ended up playing 13 games for the Oilers while serving as captain of their AHL team the rest of the season. He was signed to a two way deal with the Blues in the 2010 offseason.
