Jerry D’Amigo is an American winger on the Toronto Maple Leafs.

D’Amigo was drafted in 2009 by the Leafs, while played his 2nd season with the US U-18 team. He scored 23 goals and 56 points that season, and went on to begin his collegiate career at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He scored 10 goals and 34 points, far exceeding expectations, and won the ECAC Rookie of the Year.

More impressively, he was a member of the 2010 American World Junior team that won gold in 2010, and led the team in goal scoring with 6 goals and 12 points. He actually had more points the previous year’s tournament, in which he also helped the US win gold.

D’Amigo will compete for a roster spot on the Leafs for the 2010-11 season, after he chose to forego the rest of his NCAA career, and signed a 3 year deal with the Leafs in the 2010 offseason.
