Josh Green is a Canadian forward on Modo Hockey.
Green was drafted by Los Angeles in 1996 after scoring 43 points for the Medicine Hat Tigers in the WHL. He played a few more seasons in the minors before making his NHL debut with the Kings in 1998-99. He was traded to the New York Islanders at the 1999 draft, and played 49 games for the Isles in ’99-00, scoring 12 goals and 26 points. He spent the next three seasons with the Edmonton Oilers, where he played a career high 61 games in 2001-02. Green played four games with the New York Rangers in 2002, but finished the ’02-03 season with Washington. He split the next season between Calgary and the Rangers, before joining the Vancouver Canucks’ organization in 2004. He played a total of 90 games for Vancouver, scoring 6 goals and 13 points. He signed with Anaheim in 2008, after spending a season playing in Austria. He did not appear in a regular season game for the Ducks, but played in 5 postseason games. He signed with Modo in 2009.
