Jason Demers is a Canadian defenseman on the San Jose Sharks.
Demers was drafted by the Sharks in 2008, after scoring 63 points in his final season in the QMJHL. He spent 2008-09 in the AHL, and earned his first shot at the NHL in the 2009-10 season. Demers got off to a hot start, recording 12 assists in his first 25 games, and earned himself a more permanent spot on the roster.
