Jake Dowell is an American center on the Chicago Blackhawks.

He was drafted by Chicago in 2004, after scoring 19 points in his freshman year at the University of Wisconsin. He played three more years at Wisconsin, scoring 19 goals and 25 points in his senior year. He joined the Blackhawks’ organization in 2006, and spent most of the next few seasons in the minors. In 2008-09, he scored 20 points and had 128 penalty minutes in the AHL. He played in 19 games with Chicago during the 2007-08 season, and scored 3 points. He appeared in only one game in the NHL during 2008-09, but was kept on Chicago’s roster for the 2009-10 season.
