Tuukka Rask is a Finnish goalie on the Boston Bruins.
Rask was originally drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the first round of the 2005 draft, and was the top European goalie in his class. Rask never played for the Leafs, but was traded to Boston in 2006 for Andrew Raycroft. In 2007, he made his first NHL appearance, posting his first NHL win against Toronto. In the past three years, Rask has made only 8 appearances, posting 4 wins, 2 losses and 2 overtime losses. This season, with Manny Fernandez released, Rask will back up Vezina Trophy winner Tim Thomas.
