Yann Danis is a Canadian goalie on Amur Khabarovsk.

Danis was undrafted, despite having a stellar career at Brown University. He signed with the Montreal Canadiens, and joined them for 6 games in 2005, recording a shutout in his first NHL start. He signed with the Islanders in 2008. Danis finally got his first shot at a regular spot in an NHL lineup during the 2008-09 season. When Rick DiPietro went down with an injury, Danis got the nod to start 29 games for the lowly Islanders. He won only 10 games, despite posting respectable numbers, including a 2.86 GAA and a .910 save percentage. In the 2009 offseason, after former Devils backup Scott Clemmensen signed with Florida, Danis was picked up by the Devils to back up Martin Brodeur, and he appeared in 12 games during the 2009-10 season. Danis opted to leave for Russia in 2010, and was signed by Amur Khabarovsk, where he was named the starting goalie for the 2010-11 season.
