Jeff Carter is a Canadian center on the Philadelphia Flyers.
Carter was drafted by the Flyers in 2003, and has become one of the center pieces around which Philadelphia has begun to rebuild their franchise. Carter debuted for the Flyers in 2005, playing 81 games and recording 42 points. In 2007-08, Carter played in all 82 games, while scoring 29 goals and 53 points.
Carter won a silver medal at the 2004 World Junior Championships, and a gold medal in 2005 at the same tournament. In 2006, he played for Canada at the World Hockey Championships.
