Kyle Wellwood is a Canadian center on HK Atlant.

Wellwood was drafted by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2001, after a sensational career in the OHL. He played his first NHL season with the Leafs in 2005, after playing one game with them in 2004. He performed well in Toronto, putting up 45 points his rookie year. Unfortunately, he was injured in his second season, while he was on pace to nearly double his rookie season totals. He was traded to Vancouver in the 2008 offseason. During two seasons with the Canucks, Wellwood notched 32 goals and 52 points. He was unsigned after the 2010 offseason, and opted to head for Russia, signing with HK Atlant.

Wellwood played for Team Canada at the 2003 World Hockey Championships, where he won a silver medal.
