Andrei Kostitsyn

Andrei Kostitsyn is a Belorussian winger on the Montreal Canadiens.

Kostitsyn was drafted 10th overall by Montreal in 2003, after playing in the Russian Superleague. He joined the club in 2005, but did not break out as a top caliber NHL forward until ’07-08. That season, he played on the Canadiens’ first line, scoring 26 goals and 27 assists for 53 points.

Kostitsyn has played for Belarus at 11 different international junior and senior tournaments. He has 36 points in 43 games at the junior level.
