Aaron Johnson is a Canadian defenseman on the Edmonton Oilers.

Johnson was drafted by Columbus in 2001. He then spent the next three seasons in the QMJHL, before joining Columbus for 29 games, recording 8 points and 32 penalty minutes. He split time with the Blue Jackets and their AHL affiliate over the next few seasons, before being traded to the New York Islanders in 2007. He signed with Chicago in the 2008 offseason, where he played 38 games, recording a stellar +19 rating along with 8 points and 33 penalty minutes. Johnson was signed by Calgary in 2009, but played just 22 games before being traded to Edmonton in 2010. He had 3 goals and 7 points in 19 games with the Oilers.
