Ilya Bryzgalov is a Russian goalie on the Phoenix Coyotes.

Bryzgalov was drafted by Anaheim in 2000. He began his career in the Russian SuperLeague, playing with Lada Togliatti. He jumped to the AHL after being drafted by Anaheim. Unfortunately for Brygalov, JS Giguere has consistently played outstanding for Anaheim, coming on the scene around the same time as Bryzgalov. He got his first good chance to impress in the NHL in 2005-06, when Giguere suffered an injury, and Bryzgalov got 31 starts. He finished with 13 wins, a 2. 51 GAA and a .910 save percentage. He also recorded 3 shutouts in the playoffs, before falling apart in the Conference Finals against Edmonton. He continued to receive limited playing time behind Giguere, and signed with Phoenix in 2007.

Brygalov won a bronze medal with Russia at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
