Sheldon Souray is a Canadian defenseman on the Edmonton Oilers.

Souray was drafted by the New Jersey Devils in 1994. He joined the Devils in 1997, but was traded to Montreal in 2000. He made a name for himself as one of the top offensive defensemen in the league in Montreal, and set career highs in 2006-07, when he scored 26 goals and 64 points. After signing with Edmonton in 2007, he played only 26 games due to injury.

Souray played for Team Canada at the 2005 World Championships.
