Stephen Weiss is a Canadian center on the Florida Panthers.
Weiss was drafted 4th overall by Florida in 2001, while he was in the midst of putting together a very solid OHL career with the Plymouth Whalers. He played 7 games the next season, and made the permanent roster in 2003-04. Since the lockout, he has had solid offensive numbers, finishing the last two seasons with 40+points in each. He is currently one of the alternate captains for the Panthers as well.
