Bobby Holik is a Czech center on the New Jersey Devils.
Holik was originally drafted by the Hartford Whalers with the 10th overall pick in the 1989 draft. Holik joined the Whalers for 2 seasons before being traded to the New Jersey Devils in 1992. With the Devils, Holik became one of the game’s premier power forwards. Over the next ten seasons, he would win 2 Stanley Cups in 1995 and 2000, as well as having the best season of his career in 1997-98, when he scored 29 goals and 65 points. He was bought by the New York Rangers in 2002, and put up decent numbers with the club over 2 seasons, before signing with the Atlanta Thrashers after the lockout. He was named the team’s captain in 2007, but signed with New Jersey in the 2008 offseason.
