Shean Donovan is a Canadian winger on the Ottawa Senators.
Donovan was drafted 28th overall by San Jose in 1993, and spent 4 seasons with the Sharks before being traded to Colorado in 1997. He was traded to Atlanta in 1999, where he spent 3 more seasons before being picked up by Pittsburgh. He was traded to Calgary in 2003, where he had his best season in ’03-04, scoring a career high 18 goals and 42 points. He returned to Calgary after the lockout, but only for one more season, after which he was signed by Boston. He was traded to Ottawa in 2007, and played in every game for the Senators in 2007-08.
Donovan played for Team Canada at the ’95 and ’97 World Juniors, winning two gold medals.
