Alex Steen is a Swedish-Canadian winger on the St. Louis Blues.
Steen is the son of superstar winger Thomas Steen, who played on the Winnipeg Jets. He was drafted in 2002 by Toronto, but continued playing for Frolunda HC of the Swedish Elitserien until 2005. Since his rookie season, Steen proved to be a consistent producer for Toronto, tallying at least 15 goals and 30 points in each season. In 2008, he was traded to St. Louis as part of the deal that brought Lee Stempniak to Toronto. He finished the season scoring 24 points for the Blues in 61 games.
