Manny Malhotra is a Canadian center on the Vancouver Canucks.

Malhotra was drafted 7th overall in 1998 by the New York Rangers. As a top ten pick, his career has been somewhat of a disappointment, as he has never scored more than 12 goals or 21 assists in a single season. He played with New York from 1998 until 2002, when he was dealt to Dallas. He was then traded to Columbus in 2003, where he has had the best seasons of his career. In 2005-06, he set personal bests with 10 goals and 31 points. In 2008-09, he would eclipse those totals, scoring 11 goals and 35 points with the Blue Jackets. He opted not to re-sign with Columbus, and signed with the Sharks in the 2009 offseason. He had a very good year with the Sharks, scoring 14 goals and 33 points while playing mostly 3rd line minutes. Despite helping the Sharks reach the Western Conference Finals he was allowed to walk as an unrestricted free agent, and signed with Vancouver during the 2010 offseason.

Malhotra is only the second person of Indian descent to play in the NHL. He is married to the sister of Canadian basketball star Steve Nash.
