Dustin Byfuglien is an American winger on the Atlanta Thrashers.
Byfuglien was drafted by Chicago in 2003, as a defenseman. He broke into the league in 2005, and saw limited playing time as a defenseman over the next two seasons. In 2007-08, he moved to forward, to give Chicago a larger physical presence up front. In 67 games, he scored 19 goals and 36 points, while tallying 59 penalty minutes. In the spring of 2010, Byfuglien was one of the biggest reasons Chicago won the Cup, scoring a team-leading 11 goals and 16 points in the playoffs. Despite his huge performance and value to the club, he was traded to Atlanta in the offseason to help the Blackhawks alleviate their cap situation.
