Patrick Sharp is a Canadian center on the Chicago Blackhawks.
Sharp was drafted by Philadelphia in 2001. Although he played his first NHL game in 2002, after finishing his college hockey at the University of Vermont, Sharp saw very limited playing time in the NHL with the Flyers. In 2005, he was traded to Chicago. In 2007-08, he had a breakout season, tallying 36 goals, 62 points and 75 penalty minutes.
Sharp took home a silver medal with Team Canada at the 2008 World Championships.
