Roman Kukumberg is a Slovakian professional ice hockey player who is currently a center player for HC Slovan Bratislava. Kukumberg was born on April 8, 1980 in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia, and prior to his transfer to HC Slovan Bratislava, he was a member of Amur Khabarovsk for a year.

Kukumberg’s career kicked off during his youth when he was signed by SHK Danubia Bratislava for their junior team. He spent a good three years with the said team before he was transferred to MHC Nitra. Afterwards, he signed with HC Dukla Trencin, and during his last season with the club, Kukumberg was drafted in the NHL Entry Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs in the fourth round.

Though Kukumberg never really got to play with the Toronto Maple Leafs, he was able to play with the Toronto Marlies for a year in 2005. After that, he went back to HC Slovan Bratislava where he spent a year before signing with other teams. Other clubs that Kukumberg was able to play with include HC Lada Togliatti, and Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.
