Ezhov stayed for two years with the club before transferring to Atlant Mytischi and then to Traktor Chelyabinsk HK.

Aside from his ventures as a professional ice hockey player, Ezhov also has an excellent record as an international player. Back in 2002 and 2003, Ezhov was a part of the Under 18 Junior World Championships, and then by 2004 and 2005, he was playing in the Under 20 category.
