Gennady Razin is a professional ice hockey player who was born on February 3, 1978. Razin is currently a player of Traktor Chelyabinsk HK of the Kontinental Hockey League, and although most of the players in the KHL are Russian, Razin is of Ukrainian descent, having been born in Kharkov, Ukrain.

Razin’s career as an ice hockey player started when he was signed by Kamloops Blazers in 1996. Razin spent two years with the club before transferring to Fredericton Canadiens in 1998. After just a year with his new team, Razin transferred to join the Quebec Citadelles, and stayed with the club for three years.
