Jakub Ficenec is a German-Czech ice hockey player who was born on February 11, 1977 in Hradec Kralove, Czechoslovakia. Ficenec is best known for being a defender for ERC Ingolstadt, of the German Ice Hockey League.

Ficenec’s playing career started when he was a part of HC Hradec Kralove, which was his first professional team. Up until 1994, Ficenec was a member of the said team before he transferred to HC Slavia Prague, but stayed with the team for just a year.

Incidentally, Ficenec has also been a part of the Portland Pirates of the United States. He has also a record as an international player, playing for the Czech national team.
