Rob Collins is a professional ice hockey player who was born on March 15, 1978 in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Though Collins is a Canadian, he is best known for being a wingman of the DEG Metro Stars, which is a member of the German Ice Hockey League.Collins was drafted sometime in 2003 when he was included in the NHL Entry Draft, and was picked by the New York Islanders. However, he never made contract so he went to join other teams and played in other leagues instead.One of the teams Collins started playing in was the Ferris State University, where he stayed from 1998 to 2002. Over time, Collins transferred from one club to other joining teams like Grand Rapids Griffins and Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
