Adam Courchaine is a professional ice hockey player who was born on May 23, 1984 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Courchaine is best known for currently being the center of the DEG Metro Stars, a club in the Deutschen Eishockey Liga, or the German ice hockey league.
Courchaine’s professional career started in 2001 when he was still a junior ice hockey player, playing for the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Western Hockey League. Courchaine spent a good year with the Tigers before deciding to go with the Vancouver Giants where he played for around 3 years. After his three-year stint, he decided to transfer to the Pensacola Ice Pilots, but stayed only for a year before transferring once more to Gwinnett Gladiators and then to EK Zell am See.
It would seem that Courchaine had reached Austria trying to find a place he would fit in, until 2008 where he signed up with the DEG Metro Stars.
