Denis Arkhipov is a Russian right winger on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.
Arkhipov was drafted by the Nashville Predators in 1998, after playing his first full season in the Super League and winning the league championship with Ak Bars Kazan. He played another two seasons with the club before making his NHL debut in 2000. He had 13 points in 40 games for the Predators in 2000-01, and showed promise in his sophomore season, scoring 20 goals and 42 points while playing all 82 games. His production declined steadily over the next two seasons, and he returned to Ak Bars Kazan to play during the lockout. He stayed in Russia for 2005-06, playing with HK Atlant, but returned to the NHL with Chicago in 2006, scoring 10 goals and 27 points that season. He went back to Russia in 2007, and played another season with both Ak Bars Kazan and HK Atlant before joining Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in 2009. Injuries kept him out of nearly the entire 2010-11 season.
