Sergei Bernatsky is a Russian defenseman on Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk.
Bernatsky began his career in the Russian Second and Third Leagues, where he played seven seasons with CSKA Moscow and Krylia Sovetov, among other teams. He made his Super League debut with Krylia Sovetov in 2002, and returned with the club in 2006. He signed with Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk in 2007, and had a career high 127 penalty minutes in his first season with the team. He put up 11 points in back to back seasons in 2008-09 and 2009-10, the most points he’s ever scored in a single Super League season.
