Alexander Ryazantsev is a Russian defenseman on Automobilist Ekaterinburg.

Ryazantsev was drafted in 1998 by the Colorado Avalanche, after splitting the year between the Russian Third League and the QMJHL. He had 62 points with the Victoriaville Tigers in 1999-00, and earned himself a callup to the Hershey Bears, where he played the next four seasons. He returned to Russia and joined Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in 2003, notching 11 points and 58 penalty minutes in his first full season in the Super League. He spent another year with the team before joining Dynamo Moscow for a season in 2005-06. He then played two years with SKA St. Petersburg before being traded to Avangard Omsk in 2008.The following season, while playing with Vityaz Chekov, he had a career year, scoring 9 goals and 21 points, both career highs. He joined Automobilist Ekaterinburg in 2010.

Ryazantsev won a gold medal with Russia at the 1999 World Juniors, followed by a silver medal in 2000. He also won a bronze medal with Russia at the 2005 World Championships.
