Vitaly Anikeenko is a Russian defenseman on Lokomotiv Yaroslavl.

Anikeenko was drafted by the Ottawa Senators in 2005, after scoring 14 points and 62 penalty minutes in the Russian Third League. He split time between the Super League and Third League over the next two years, appearing in 51 games for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl before becoming a full-time player in 2007. He had 13 points and 46 penalty minutes in 40 games in 2007-08, before being traded to Metallurg Novokuznetsk near the end of the year. He was traded back to Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in 2008, and set a career high with 18 points and 50 penalty minutes in 2009-10.

Anikeenko won a bronze medal with Russia at the 2003 U18 World Juniors, as well as a silver medal at the 2007 World Juniors.
