Alexander Perezhogin is a Kazakh-Russian winger on Avangard Omsk.
Perezhogin was drafted in the first round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Montreal Canadiens, after scoring 47 goals and 71 points in 41 games in the Russian Third League. He played two years with Omsk in the Super League before coming to North America, scoring 15 goals and 21 points in his first full season of senior pro hockey. He spent a year in the AHL before returning to Omsk during the NHL lockout. He spetn two seasons with Montreal after the lockout, scoring 34 points in 128 NHL games. However, he returned to Russia in 2007, and won a league championship with Salavat Yulaev Ufa, scoring 21 goals and 41 points. He scored 28 goals and 52 points the next season, and signed with Avangard Omsk for the 2010-11 season.
Perezhogin won gold medals at the 2001 U18 World Juniors, 2002 and 2003 World Juniors, and 2009 World Championships.
