One of his well-remembered performances was during the Ginn Sur Mer Classic in 2008, where he won his second title. Although the weather condition was rainy and became tough for golfers to play, still he managed to make a 10-foot putt and won by one stroke against 5 other players. Because of his winning performance, he also managed to secure a place on the PGA Tour in the next two years.

In 2017, he experienced great turmoil when his wife was diagnosed with cancer, that’s why she had to undergo chemotherapy treatment. This results in him meeting the conditions of his medical extension under the family crisis provision at the CareerBuilder Challenge.
