Cameron Reid Beck is a professional golfer who was born on February 15, 1970 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Beckman basically grew up in Minnesota, and soon graduated from Burnsville Senior High School, and soon went to champion the 1991 NAIA championship while studying at Texas Lutheran University.

Beckman’s first big victory was at the Southern Farm Bureau Classic, which he won in 2001. Having turned pro in 1993, Beckman had to struggle with his first few years before becoming victorious. Seven years after his victory in 2001, Beckman won the Frys.com Open which was held at Greyhawk Golf Club. During the event, it was noted how Beckman had to have a playoff with Kevin Sutherland at the time. In February 2010, Beckman was once more victorious at the Mayakoba Golf Classic at Riviera Maya-Cancun, where he was followed closely by Joe Durant and Brian Stuard.
