Christopher Baryla is a professional golfer who started playing professional golf in 2003. Born on October 24, 1982 in Calgary, Alberta, Baryla has played in the Nationwide Tour and the PGA Tour.
Before going pro, Baryla studied at the University of Texas at El Paso.
Standing six feet tall, Baryla did enter the professional golfing world in 2003, however it was only in 2009 that he won his first ever Nationwide Tour and won the Chattanooga Classic. During the tournament, Baryla suffered from a poor start but was able to recover by hitting seven birdies. This enabled him to end up with just one stroke ahead of Troy Kelly, and eventually getting away with the victory. With this finish, he was able to end up on 19th place on the money list, earning his first PGA Tour card in 2010.
So far, Baryla has 1 professional win, and has only graced one Major Championship, which was in 2003 when he failed to make the cut.
