He turned pro in 2016 and began his career in the PGA Tour Canada. In 2017, he qualified to play in the Web.com Tour, and that year, he finished 7th at the El Bosque Mexico Championship. He was the first Austrian to get a PGA Tour card.

He did not get a PGA Tour win until 2022 when he won The Honda Classic by one stroke, beating Shane Lowry. That year, he also made it to the playoffs of the FedEx St Jude Championship. He lost to Will Zalatoris.
