English attended The Baylor School in Tennessee. In 2005, while a high school student, he won the individual state title for three years. In 2007, he won the Georgia State Amateur. In 2011, he won the Southern Amateur.
Professional Career
In 2011, Nationwide Children’s Hospital Invitational. He beat John Peterson and Kylie Reifers by one stroke. That year, he made it to the playoff of the WNB Golf Classic but he lost to Danny Lee.
He won his first PGA Tour title in 2013 at the FedEx St Jude Classic. He beat Phil Mickelson and Scott Stallings by 2 strokes. In November of the same year, he won the OHL Classic at Mayakoba. He beat Brian Stuard by 4 strokes.
In 2021, he won two PGA Titles, the Sentry Tournament of Champions and the Travelers Championship. In September of that year, he was part of the US Ryder Cup team.
