Aaron Wise was born in Cape Town, South Africa on June 21, 1996. He currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada, and plays for the United States. Wise and his family moved to the United States when he was three years old and he was raised in California. He stands 185 cm tall and his weight was last listed at 79 kg.

He attended Santiago High School and he also played collegiate golf for the University of Oregon. In 2014 he won the San Diego Junior Amateur. That year, he also won the Inland Empire Amateur. In 2015, he won the Pacific Coast Amateur and in 2016, he won the Amer Ari Invitational and the Australian Master of the Amateurs.

Professional Career

After the NCAA Championship, Wise turned pro. His first professional win came in 2016 at the Syncrude Oil Country Championship. He beat Emilio Dominguez and Brock Mckenzie by 5 strokes. In July 2017, he won the Air Capital Classic, beating Beau Hossler by 5 strokes as well.

His first PGA Tour win came in 2018 at the AT&T Bryon Nelson. He beat Marc Leishman by three strokes. In 2022, he made it to the Top 27 of the US Open. In the same year, he made it to the Top 34 ofThe Open Championship of 2022.
