Ryann O’Toole is a professional golfer who started playing golf at the age of 13. She earned All American honors from ESPN while in high school and led her school to CIF championships, the 1st Team All-Orange County championships and the 2nd team All Los ¬ Angeles County selections in 2005. Aside from playing golf in high school, O’Toole also played on softball and basketball. She tied for her first collegiate tournament in 2005 at the Mason Rudolph Championship and clocked her lowest score of the season with a first round score of 70.
By the summer of 2005 she made it to the QF of the North and South Women’s Amateur tournament where she defeated Ashleu Kelley in the first round and Morgan Olds in the second round. She blew past Stephanie Otteson in the third round before bowing to the Morgan Pressel in the in Quarterfinals/. It was also in 2005 when she qualified for the US Women’s Amateur after making finish at 6th place in Pasatiempo. She also placed third at the Irvine City Men’s Championship before advancing to the third ‘s round at the Women’s Western Amateur. She later tied at 6th place at the Rolex Girls Juniors championship.
O’Toole competed in the US Amateur Championships in 2006 and 2008 and recorded several top finishes while attending university at ths time. She was a cast member of the Golf Channel’s Big Break Sandals Resorts show in 2010.
