Woods stated that at this point of the year, he is finally more at peace regarding his personal life compared to his return in April of this year. He stated that he remains rather hopeful that the season does not go off without a single victory.

During a video conference call for his Chevron World Challenge, Woods said, “I learned a lot about myself, and I learned how things went wrong, why they went wrong, and had to take a pretty deep and introspective look at myself. And there wasn’t a lot of things I like about it… But I had to do it, and I did it, and grateful that I did.”

He adds, “I think that I come from a much better place, much more grounded place now than I ever have before.”

Woods’ final tournament for this year’s season will be the Chevron World Challenge that will be played on December 3 to 6, held in Sherwood Country Club. Before that tournament, Woods has yet to play in Shanghai for the HSBC Champions. The said event will be his last chance to be able to win a PGA Tour event for this year. After that, he is bound for Melbourne to play in the Australian Masters and defend his title, before playing in the last event of this season.
