What year will be their next Stanley Win?

Go on, let's do some guesswork just for fun ;) What year do you think will be the next time we see Toronto win the Stanley Cup? Personally, I am gonna say '09. Will I be wrong? quite possibly. But one can hope, right?

Okay, lets all pick sometime. I will pick mine out of a hat (kidding of course), but 09 does sound on the right track. I think since I am an off/on sports type, the past 2 years have been a little down, not sure why, have not been able to follow as much as I would have liked. Maybe even in '10, but no later than 11 for a good guesstimate.

I am guessing that NEVER would be a better guess than any time in the next 20 years. Toronto just doesn't have the capital resources to compete.

Lise, I really hope you are proven wrong. They need another cup though, and they need it soon.Maybe they'll get lucky, and win within the next few years. Nobody know's where they'll be in 20 years, or even 5 years from now. But where ever they go, I hope it's "up"

If I had to guess...maybe 2017? ;) Would be nice if it were sooner, but I really don't know what will happen. A team deserving to win, and actually winning are sometimes 2 different things.

I just hope that the remaining Canadian Teams in the NHL have enough success to be able to afford to stay in Canada. The NHL without Canada would be like baseball with out Boston. Could work, but sure wouldn't be the same and a lot more would be lost than ever gained.

That would be a little off the wall if they went away. I dont think anyone knows hockey w/o knowing CDA.

I don't think ANYONE wants to know a Hockey with no Canada. Unfortunately though, I really am starting to worry about the Canadian teams. Not sure what needs to be done, but SOMETHING has to change.
