Anyone else read about this? The suspended defensive tackle Tank Johnson will be allowed to practice starting today, which will be his first team session with the Dallas Cowboys since they signed him last month. Johnson still has two games left on his eight-game N.F.L. suspension for violating probation on a gun charge. Unless the suspension is reduced by Commissioner Roger Goodell, Johnson will be eligible to play when the Cowboys play at the Giants on Nov. 11. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/19/sports/football/19nfl.html?ref=football

And this is the kind of guy we want to see playing for the Cowboys? Do ANY players exist without criminal records anymore, because I am seriously starting to wonder.

I know next to nothing about Tank Johnson, but what kind of first name is Tank? Is that just his nick-name or what? Anyway I have no problems with him playing, as long as he behaves himself.

I really don't care what this guy did in the past, if he keeps his future clean. Unfortunately, I am pretty darn sure this won't be the last time Johnson gets in trouble with the law. Doesn't this dude already have a bit of a record on him?

His real name is Terry, but being a tackle "Tank" is probably pretty descriptive. He obviously has an issue behaving himself which is unfortunate since he was given the opportunity to join a team that can take him as far as he wants to go.
