You have to hand it to these guys - they still have spirit and hope that they can rise above the bottom rankings. If they could only put as much energy into their matches, they'd have it made. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPK6h_TEUPo

I love the song, But I have to agree. The team has got to put more into the game than they put into videos or no one is going to be visiting their sites to get a chance to hear their songs.

Wow, that was wild. When I first tried the link, that was not what I expected. Well, I guess if their career in the cricket world doesn't pay off; they could always go on the road making music videos.

I'm not real familiar with this team. Does anyone know it that was actually the team performing in the video or a professional singer and dancers?

Oh yeah, that was the team. Boy, they sure are fit. I guess they would have to be in good shape to do all they do out on the field. Ah, to be young again.

I believe that owning a team is all about making money. After all, its a business right? SRK bought the team, got sponsors, showed off sponsor logos on his music videos, websites, road shows or whatever else they did and the sponsors paid him. He's already made money off of the team and has made up his costs - thats already a known fact. Whether they win or lose is simply a matter of the players performing on the field and I don't think that the prize money or trophy is more important to any owner as the overall profit-loss scenario is. After all, this isn't like a soccer league structure where the fans are a major source of the income (gate receipts, merchandise, etc.). This is a flash in the pan tournament where sponsors bring the money. Heck, the gate receipts probably don't even go to the teams. So why will they care if the people come in to watch the match or not?

If nothing else, he's quite funny this guy. Keeping us entertained so I don't mind.

It might not be the bread and butter to the owner if the team wins each game or not. But, it does affect which sponsors are going to pick them up and how much they are willing to pay. Plus, each players performance does contribute to his total worth.

I have to agree with. Even if the owner is relying on sponsorship money, without some wins there will be no sponsorship money. No sponsor wants people looking at their product or logo and thinking 'loser'.

What if the video is a way to try and boost some peoples mind sets? I could see that as a little project done to get everyone back into the winning thoughts and bump up their mojo.
