Bad luck

Torres will be out for at least the next three matches due to a hamstring injury, possibly even longer. Benitez issued a statement that says how it's quite a blow to lose an important player just before three of the most important games for the squad. This is going to hurt Liverpool severely.

This could hardly have come at a worst time for Liverpool. I hope that Torres will heal well and also that the other guys will rise to the occasion.

Word is that Torres was thought to be back for yesterdays clash with Tottenham. Does anyone know if he played? I haven't seen the news or seen any results on the net yet.

I am having a hard time finding out more as well. Every place that I see online still said that he is out and "will be returning soon". I guess no one knows for sure.
