There should be more like this...

Unfortunately there are probably more of these types of players than the troublemakers but it is the troublemakers getting all of the press. Things like this should be more widely reported instead of just concentrating on the bad. Well done! Smitty

Steelers' Defensive End Aaron Smith recently visited the Children’s Home of Pittsburgh. He took the time to meet a lot of the kids and to sit and read a book to them. With all the focus on the people in the NFL screwing up it is nice to see a positive role model for a change. This reflects well on him and the team. George

That's awesome. It's good to see at least some of the athletes being the role models that they always used to be in America. I hope more will follow his example.

I agree that the few trouble makers get all the press and the good guys end up on the back page. All of the NFL teams make efforts to support their communities. I happen to think the Steelers are the most awesome at it ;)
